Gapminder – a must see! (Edward Tufte would be proud)

Gapminder – Gapminder World 2006 – my sister sent me a link to a video that talked about this technology/effort. You can view the video on YouTube, but should check out the technology yourself. As their website states, they are a non-profit venture for development and provision of free software that visualise human development. If only healthcare companies would sign up for something like this – can you imagine connecting the 5 largest healthcare insurers databases to some tool like this? or better yet – all of the RHIO’s that will be out there? Very cool stuff.
